GV II

Three estate cottages in row. Mid C19. Greensand rubble walls
with Ham stone quoins and dressings, with straight-chamfered
surrounds. Slate roofs, of low pitch with gable-ends. Brick
stacks, left and right of centre on ridge at party walls. 2
storeys. 6 windows, 3-light wooden casements with glazing-bars
(original). (8 panes to each casement), 2-light wooden case-
ments above, same design. Front-doors of each cottage, left of
centre, right of centre, right of centre,with straight-chamfered
stone jambs and four-centred heads. Four-centred plank doors,
with weatherboards, C19. Projecting stone hoods following the
shape of the doorhead, and carried on stone corbels.
