A row of cottages. Early C19. Plastered and roughcast cob with stone footings.
Gabled-end slate roofs with deeply overhanging eaves. 5 axial stacks with brick
shafts.
Front: all except No. 19 with front doorways; all except No. 1 have C19 window
frames, Nos. 3, 5 and 9 with 16-pane hornless sashes to both floors, 1 to ground
floor, 2 to first, except No. 5 which is 2 former cottages combined. Nos. 11, 15, 17
and 19 have 2-light casement windows, 6-panes per light, to both floors. Doors to
Nos. 1-11 quite deeply recessed, some with planked reveals. Included for their
contribution to townscape of Silverton village.
