House. C17 or earlier. Timber framed, plastered, roofed with handmade red clay
tiles. 4 bays facing NE, with axial stack one bay from left end. Single-storey
lean-to extension at left end. At the right end this house meets Simm's
Farmhouse corner to corner, comprising a 'Unit System' pair (item 1/108 and
5/108, q.v.). One storey with attics. 2 C20 casements and one C20 round fixed
light, 2 C20 casements in gabled dormers. C20 door in left return. Grouped
diagonal shafts, rebuilt in C20.
