Barn approx. 40m east of Nant-y-Gollen

Barn. Late C17 or early C18 with later alterations. Weatherboarded
timber frame on high uncoursed limestone rubble and brick plinth with
rubblestone gable ends, corrugated iron roof. Four bays with former
threshing bay in second bay from south. INTERIOR: framing: tall
rectangular panels, two from cill to wall-plate with long straight tension
braces to bay divisions; double-purlin roof has raking struts from
tie beams supporting principal rafters. Loft over northern bay and
fodder store below southern bay.
