House. Early C18 E range, near contemporary parallel W range, front
heightened to 3 storeys and extended to N in early C19, new N entrance
and lean-to early C20. Painted brick, stucco front, old red tile roofs,
front slope and later extensions slated. A 2-storeys attics and cellar
house facing E on hillslope higher than and some way to S of road. Front
now 3-storeys. Present house has 2 tall parallel blocks lying N-S with
internal gable chimneys at each end, lower hipped stair projection to
rear (W), 2-storeys lower N extension to front range with its own N
gable chimney, and a large lean-to in the angle to its W with front door
on N. Half-glazed door under flat hood on large carved consoles. Tall
3-light bay window on its right. Casement windows to front and S end.
3-lights casement windows to rear range.
