Farmhouse

GV II

Barn, now a stable. Circa C17, converted early C19. Timber frame on red
brick sill, dark weatherboarded. S gable and ground floor on W front in
sandy red brick. Steep old red tile roof. A tall 3-bays building facing
W with 2 stable doors and 2 slatted windows on ground floor and
pitching-door in weatherboarded upper part over the more northerly door.
High granary door in S gable under tie-beam with wooden steps. Inserted
floor on heavy cross-beams. Included for group value.
