C16 or C17 building with 2 back wings on either side of yard entered through
carriageway in front block. May have been an inn. Plastered front beneath
steeply pitched tiled roof, hipped at west end. 2 storeys, tall left
central carriageway cuts into upper storey resting on moulded beam, First
floor has 3 windows, - 1 casement, 2 sashes. Ground floor has 2 canted
bay windows on right, shop bay window on left under oversailing first
floor. 2 half glazed doors under hoods on consoles.

Nos 1, 1B 3, 5, 7, 17, 19, 23, to 31, (odd), 31A, 33, 33A, 35 and 43 to 57
(odd) form a group.
