Cottage, now two dwellings. Late C17- early C18. Timber framed, roughcast
rendered and half hipped long straw thatch roof with tiled surrounds to two
dormers. Red brick ridge stack rebuilt in gault brick above the ridge. Three
bay plan, subdivided in C19. One storey and attic. Two gable dormers, one
with C19 horizontal sliding sash. Four ground floor timber frame horizontal
sliding sashes and baffle entry doorway with boarded door. Another doorway to
Rose Cottage dates from the subdivision. Parallel and adjoining wing at the
rear.
