Row of 3 cottages, c.1800, altered, now joiners' and ironmongers' shop
and garage. Watershot coursed sandstone, stone slate roof with 2
chimneystacks on the ridge. Rectangular 3-bay plan. Two storeys:
ground floor(mostly altered) has 2 horizontal rectangular windows with
glazing bars, that to No. 14 with a doorway at its right side, plain
doorways to Nos. 12 and 16, and inserted garage door to No. 16;
1st floor has mullioned stepped multiple-light windows: 5 lights in the
centre and two 3-light windows at each side. Rear has matching windows
at 1st floor except that at left end which is altered, and at ground
floor 2 plain doorways, a stepped triple-light window at ground floor
of No. 16 (now boarded) and 2 other windows. Interior altered.
