Terrace of 8 cottages. Circa 1885. Granite rubble with granite and brick dressings.
Asbestos slate roof with gable ends, cross gables and gabled dormers. Brick chimneys
over the gable ends and the cross party walls.
Plan: row of 8 similar but not identical cottages, double depth plan, each cottage I
room wide with entrance to 1 side. 5 single storey service wings at right angles to
the rear, the middle 3 presumably shared.
Exterior : 2 storeys. Overall fairly regular 8 window south front (1:2:1:3:1 bays).
Bay window on 2 floors to left hand bay, cross gables (slightly projecting at the
front) to bays 4 and 8 (from right), bays 2 and 3 with gabled dormers and the other
bays flat fronted. Narrow doorways with ledged doors. C20 3-light casements in
original openings to front.
Interiors not inspected.
