SW 73 NE ST GLUVIAS TRELUSWELL

1/133 Lower Treluswell Farmhouse

Farmhouse. Circa early C19. Built as a dower house for the Basset family. Stuccoed
to front range, otherwise painted rubble. Asbestos slate hipped roof with projecting
eaves.
Plan: 2-room-plan garden front range at the front, wider service range, possibly
older built in 2 phases parallel at the rear. Entrance hall and stair hall behind
right-hand room.
Exterior: 2 storeys. Symmetrical 2-window south-west front without a doorway.
Original 12-pane hornless sashes. South-east entrance front has approximately
central doorway with original 6-panel door within original porch with moulded
architrave, roundels to the corner blocks and panelled reveals. Service range
projecting slightly on the right has 2 early-Cl9 16-pane sashes to each floor.
Interior not inspected.
