House. Mid C18, altered in early C19. Coursed squared gritstone with gritstone
dressings and chamfered quoins. Plinth and moulded eaves cornice. Plain tile roof
with stone ridge and stone gable end stacks. Stone coped gables without kneelers.
Two storeys, two bays. Central moulded doorcase with pedimented hoodmould over,
lintel inscribed 'WPT' and C20 plank door below. To either side, plain sashes
in flush surround with moulded bead to edge. Above, two similar windows with
plain sashes and central circular, flower-like decoration within a circular bead.
Interior has stone spiral staircases to cellar and first floor, also fine original
fireplace with Doric pilasters either side, and raised fluted keystone, moulded
cornice and mantleshelf.
