Brewery building, probably former maltings, now village hall. Late C18 or early
C19. Slate rubble walls with flush calciferous sandstone quoins, partly
rendered, and rear wall partly slate hung. Graduated greenslate roof.
2 storeys and basement, 6 bays, irregular. At either end a tall boarded door
with overlight; small basement door between. Loading doors near ends now
altered to windows. 3 small casement windows on upper floor, one below.
Similar windows arranged more regularly at west end on rear; tall pent porch and
another loading door altered to window.
