Almshouses)

GV II

House. Circular plaque: "1764, restored S.W, 1916" (Samuel Whitbread, b.l830).
Colour washed roughcast over timber frame, old clay tile roof. 2-room plan, 2
storeys. Central front door in moulded surround with cut bracketed doorhood.
2 3-light casements with glazing bars to each floor. Red brick multiple ridge
stack. NE elevation has C19 canted bay to ground floor.
