Woodleigh Cottage and The Old Cot

Cottage, extended and divided into 2 occupations. C18 with C20 alterations. Stone
and cob, rendered facade. Thatch roof to main range, half-hipped at right end with
rendered brick ridge stack to right and rendered ridge stack to extension with
slate roof hipped at right end, built at right-angles and adjoining left end of
main range. Small 2 cell cottage extended at left end probably in C19 with further
C20 addition to rear forming overall L-shaped plan. 2 storeys. 2 window range, 2-
and 3-light casements, 2 panes per light above two 2-light casements, 4 panes per
light flanking matchboarded porch with corrugated iron roof, and half-glazed inner
door. 2 storey outshut to rear with corrugated iron roof. Extension at left end
adds a 2-light casement, 2 panes per light above two 2-light casements, 6 panes per
light. Interiors altered.
