Cottage. Late C18-early C19, extended at rear mid C20. Roughcast over rubble and cob,
thatched roof, C19 brick stack gable end. Single cell with stair and closet at north
gable end, C20 extension on west front. East front: 2 storeys, 2 bays, two 2-light C19
many paned 2-light casements with projecting sills, ground floor unlit, central stable
door with double lower door, fixed light 6-pane window in south gable end fronting road
Interior: large open fireplace containing Raeburn stove, wooden shelf with brackets.
Plank doors with original hinges at north end. Upper floor not seen, thought to have a
collar beam roof. The walls of the cottage are rubble to first floor level.
