House in row. C18 or early C19. Coursed rubble, steeply
pitched thatch roof. Lofty symmetrical front block with lower
rear hipped wing. 2 storeys and attic, 2 windows; a small
central recessed dormer above 3-light wood casements, with
transom (except ground floor, right), and all to haunched
brick segmental heads. Central plank door under C20 glazed
porch. To the right of the door is a further, inserted 2-light
casement, possibly replacing a former doorway; the property
may at one stage have been 2 dwellings (there is now no
No.46). Rendered stack to each gable.
