Pair of houses in row. Early to mid C19. Rubble,
asbestos-cement slate roofs. Each house symmetrical 2-storey,
2 windows; all 3-light wood casements with horizontal bar
under haunched brick segmental heads. No.52 has a plank door,
and No.54 a part-glazed door under a C20 glazed gabled porch.
To the left are flush dressed quoins, and each house has high
raised verges, as the roofs were formerly thatched. Brick
stack to left gable of each.
