II

Former lodge to Trafford Hall. Mid C19th. Rendered, slate roof,
limewashed stack, stone plinth. Cruciform plan with added wing at
rear. One storey, with gabled single bays. 2-light timber casements,
glazed fan above has Gothic tracery and 3-centre arched head, and
similar stone hood mould. Stone cills. Front gable window is in a
similar shaped recess. Added porch at left side. One storey, flat
roofed rear wing has similar fenestration. Sides of bays have blank
recesses with hood moulds. Stack is on centre of ridge. Gables are
in form of open pediment and have moulded cornices.
