Former Rectory. Early C19 very much altered and extended in late C19 and mid
C20. 2½ storeys. South front 5 bays stucco with wide 3 window 2 storey bow
with parapet in centre and late C19 brick porch. Glazing bar sash windows.
Mansard roof with tiled lower slopes and 2 segmental pedimental dormers (late
C19). Slate upper slopes. Large chimneys. (included to provide setting for
St Michael's Church, Goodwin's and Church Cottages (latter in Tilehurst Civil
Parish)).
