7/128 Winder Hall Cottage and
barn

GV II
House and barn. Probably late C17 or early C18, probably later. Stone rubble
with slate roof. East elevation of 2 storeys and 3 bays, with barn to north.
Windows have chamfered reveals; 3 horizontally sliding sashes, 2 casements and
one pivoted casement; blocked fire window to 3rd bay. Gable-end brick stack and
cross-axial stack. Entrance is in barn and has half-glazed door, small opening
to right. North return has entrance, ventilation slots and owl hole. West
elevation has roughcast outshut under catslide roof with casement; small-paned
privoted casement to right. Barn has blocked entrances, one opposite house
entrance, and large blocked 1st floor opening, probably bank barn entrance, and
inserted entrance.
