Cement-rendered and roughcast, with stone bands, slate roofs. Brown Cow is 2 storeys,
with centre panelled door, 2 sashes down, 3 up. The other 2 buildings are 3 storeys,
with 7 sash windows on each upper floor. Huntsman has moulded doorway with trefoil
cornice moulding, similar to the Bush.

All the listed buildings on the South Side of Main Street form a group.
