House with museum in basement. Circa mid C18. Rendered stone rubble with slate roof
with gable ends. Rendered brick chimney stack in gable ends. Single depth 2-room
plan over basement.
2 storeys and basement. Asymmetrical 2-window front. Entrance to basement on left
with steps leading down. To right slate steps leading to raised stone rubble terrace
across front. To left a 4-panel door and to right a C19 12-pane window. First floor
has 2 C20 2-light casements without glazing bars. Across the front of ground floor
and built on the raised terrace is a C20 timber conservatory type of porch.
Only interior of basement inspected.
