2/25 Accommodation bridge 12 metres
- south of Wainsford

GV II

Small railway accommodation bridge 1859 I K Brunel. Roughly coursed slatestone
to inclined and raking abutments each side of segmental vaulted cartway 7 feet wide.
Zhort flank walls for gates, abutments and low over-sailing parapet capped with
granite copings. The north parapet has been widened in concrete with guard-rail.
One of a series of Brunel viaducts on the Plymouth to Truro line included for the
attention to detail which even farm access routes through embankments received.
Included for group value. (q.v. Clinnock, Derricombe and Largin viaducts).
