House. Formerly dated 1584 on gable bressumer. Timber framed with
wattle and daub and rendered brick infill and a slate roof. Two
storeys. Entrance front. Gabled wings to either side of central
range. Left hand wing has close studding to both floors and jetties
to the first floor and gable. V-strutting to gable and king post.
The central range has decorative small framing with chevron strutting,
diamonds and quarter circles. The right hand gabled wing has close
studding to both floors and V-strutting to the jettied gable. There
is a central ridge stack. The right hand side has a projecting gabled
wing at left with timber framed gable and chimney breast to right of
this. The rear of the house was largely rebuilt this century.
