Pair of cottages, part early C17, added to in later C17, and with
alterations and additions to rear. Timber-framed, brick nogged, part
limewashed. Stone plinth, steeply pitched slate roof (perhaps
formerly thatched), tile ridge. Gable end and rear brick stacks with
dentillated collars and banding. Right gable stack is projecting. 1½
storeys including later central dormer, 3-cell plan. 3 timber
casements and 1 door in moulded cases, and 1 plain door.
Interior: Pierced flat baluster oak staircase in left cottage. Beams
and partially exposed roof trusses.
