TL 5867 BURWELL NORTH STREET
(West Side)

House originally late C16 or early C17 with rooms beyond stack
to west rebuilt possibly in C18 or early C19. Timber-frame and
clunch plastered with thatched roofs. Lozenge dated '1817 JC'
on plaster marked with imitation masonry joints in east gable.
One storey and attic. South elevation has two casement dormer
windows, and three ground floor casement windows. Interior;
inglenook hearth and exposed chamfered ceiling beams. Rafters
of original roof to east and exposed wall frame.
