1866 by A Waterhouse. Well planned forecourt. Red brick with coloured
bands. Stone dressings. Hard detail. There have been several additions,
in 1885 the North Wing, and in mid C2O. The interior has been re-modelled
in 1933-4 and in 1949, Venetian Gothic detailing. 2-light windows with
attached columns between. Pointed arched doorway with oriel above. Buttressed
ground floor. Detail cornices at first floor and eaves level. Tiled roof
with gables and finials.
