TL 65 NE KIRTLING THE STREET

School and school house, dated 1850. Flint with red brick
dressings. Slate roofs. School, one storey with gable wing at
right angles to north-east and main gable slightly projecting to
street with large three-light window in two-centred arch. House
one storey and attic to south-west. Symmetrical facade; two
storey gabled porch with boarded door and fanlight shaped to
four-centred arch with window and plaque inscribed 'Boys and
Girls School MD CCCL', above. Two hipped attic windows, two,
three-light ground floor windows with moulded brick
architraves. Central ridge stack.
