Circa 1830. 3 storeys and basement; gault brick; hipped slate roof with
wide projecting eaves; symmetrically designed front; 3 windows, flat brick
arches, glazing bars; semi-circular-headed doorway set in round-headed
recess with plain stone imposts. Associated with the founding of Newnham
College, 1871-75. Original staircase. (RCHM 252).
