Two cottages, formerly an inn. C17 altered, timber framed with
colourwashed brick infill and part refacing. Thatched roof, half
hipped at E. end. Central chimney stack of old thin bricks; second
projecting stack at W. end with string courses and weathered offsets and
projecting semicircular bake oven at base. 1 storey and attic, N. front
has 2 doors. Irregular mocern casements, one 3-light upper casement and
2 casements breaking up into thatch. S. front has 2 small modern flat
roofed extensions. Attached weatherboarded outbuilding at E. end under
continuation of main roof.
