Church of St Lawrence

Chest tomb. Dated 1665 in memory of Grace Burough. Beerstone ashlar with flint
rubble. The chest tomb is rectangular in plan with a soffit-moulded flat lid. Any
plinth is buried. The chest is flint rubble with a rectangular Beerstone plaque on
the south side which is inscribed with Roman serif capital letters and records the
death of Grace Burough in 1665.
