Parish church. C14 and C15 restored in 1867. Stone rubble with freestone dressings
and slate roof. Ashlar embattled parapet to south side of nave and chancel and
north aisle. C14 nave and chancel in one with restored two-light windows with
reticulated tracery and south and east windows with intersecting tracery. Single
chamfered south doorway with C18 panelled door and C19 gabled porch. North aisle
with two tiers of four-centred and two-centred arch windows. North vestry. C15
west tower with diagonal buttresses, square stair turret on north east corner,
embattled parapet with grotesques, two-light bell-openings, three-light
perpendicular west window and hollow-chamfered west doorway with hood mould.
Interior: three-bay north arcade with octagonal piers and double-chamfered arches,
through which is suspended the balcony. C19 waggon roofs to nave, chancel and north
aisle. C19 furnishing including a stone traceried screen. Carved Jacobean
polygonal pulpit. Tomb chest immediately south of church to Thomas Scott 1795.
