Pair of houses at end of row. Early C19. Rendered, slate
mansard roof. 2 storeys and attic, 1+1 window; small raking
dormer above 4-pane sashes, but No.15 has a first-floor
8:12:8-pane bowed oriel. To the left in each an arched doorway
over a fanlight with radial bars, painted over in No.16. No.15
has a good 6-panel door, No.16 has C20 door. Ridge stack to
the right of each house. INTERIOR: not inspected.
This pair may have been built as a group with No.14 (qv), but
has the mansard brought down to a normal eaves. The right
return to No.16 steps back to the adjoining house at the end
of Hope Street.
