House, C13 and C17, 2 storeys and part 1 storey with attics, timber framed
and plastered with fragments of very interesting old pargetting. House formed
from an old crosswing and half of a C17 structure. Front has 2 storey jettied
part, with hipped peg tile roof at NW corner and C20 small pane window in
earlier canted bay. The first floor has 1 C19 2 light casement. The one storey
and attics section has a gabled peg tile roof and a gabled 2 flight dormer with
horizontal sliding sash with g.b.'s. The ground floor has entrance door with
steps and late C18 square shopfront, bay window with small panes. The interior
of 2 storey half, reveals early crosswing with crown post roof, truncated at
front,, with wide straight bracing. One late C16 door in situ on first floor.
