C17 refaced in C18. 2 storeys and basements painted brick to Nos 39, 40
and 41, and stuccoed to Nos 37 and 38. Tiled roof with 3 brick stacks and
5 dormers. Part stringcourse. Nos 39, 40 and 41 have 1 sash each set in
moulded architraves with glazing bars intact. Nos 37 and 38 have C19 casements.
Nos 39, 40 and 41 have plain doorcases with hoods, console brackets, 2 steps
and plinth. Nos 37 and 38 have doorcases with vestigial stone hoods, decorated
console brackets and 4 panelled doors, Footscrapers.

Nos 37 to 41 (consec) form a group together with Nos 25 and 26 Castle Street.
