House, now 2 shops. C16, refronted in C18. Timber-framed and weatherboarded.
Modillion eaves cornice to plain tiled roof. Stacks behind ridge to
left and in centre. 2 flat-headed dormers at left hand end. Continuous
jetty, now boxed in, and underbuilt to left. 2 storeys. Irregular 5 window
first floor with 2 C19 wood-framed square oriels to left and 3 glazing bar
sashes to right. Double shop front with central glazed door to left, flanked
to right by half-glazed door, (No 15), and boarded door. Late C18 canted
bay under jetty in centre with half-glazed door with transom light to right
and shop front further to right. Square-headed carriage entrance with boarded
doors at extreme right. Part of the Rectorial property until 1791.
