Early C18 origin, 3 storeys and attics, cellars. Partly timber-framed
and plastered, partly brick. The front has been much altered and there
are modern ground floor shops, No 28 has C18-C19 features and a large
3-light window on the first floor. At the rear are 2 projecting wings
with half-hipped gables joined by a parapet. Some double hung sashes
with-glazing bars. The roofs are tiled.
