House (Rose Stile) with cottage attached to left. Probably late C17-early C18
house with major late C19 alterations. Mid-late C18 cottage. House coursed
sandstone rubble, cottage dressed sandstone; stone-flagged roofs and stone
chimney stacks.

2-storey, 3-bay house. Entry via late C20 porch to right. 12-pane sashes with
flush lintels and sills to ground floor; replaced 4-pane sashes with projecting
chamfered sills above. Roof has end stacks with top bands. Truncated external
chimney to right return.

Lower 2-storey, 2-bay cottage has raised-and-chamfered quoins to left. Partly-
glazed 6-panel door in moulded surround to right. 12-pane sashes in similar
surrounds with projecting sills. Roof has coped left gable with shaped kneeler.
Stepped-and-corniced left end stack.

Late C20 house porch and additions to left end and rear of cottage are not of
special interest.
