Chest tombs. Late C17 and C18. Limestone. Group comprises: 2
with gadrooned corner balusters and moulded rectangular side panels
with projecting corners, 1 inscribed to Thomas Hawker of Uley,
Clothier, died 1794, 1 inscribed to SUSANNAH the Daughter of DANIEL
FOWLER and Wife of RICHARD HAWKER, died 1739; 1 with acanthus leaf
to bulbous ends and dentil-enriched top, dated 1670; 1 with
bolection moulded panels with central oval to sides and ends, dated
1699; 1 with gadrooned corner balusters and anthropomorphic end
cartouches, inscribed to SAMUEL FOWLER, died 1714.
