10/79 Tainton Monument, about 6m north-
west of north-west pier of porch in
churchyard of Church of St. Mary
the Virgin.

GV II


Chest tomb, Samuel Tainton, died 1783 (5?) et al. Limestone. Flat
top, moulded plinth and capping. Gadrooned 1/4 balusters with
reliefs. End panels have urn to west, other device to east. Sides
have large raised oval panels with rosettes in spandrels.
