Early C19 pair of semi-detached houses originally symmetrical overall. Brick; slate
roof. Two storeys; 8 bays, the outer 2 advanced and pedimented. Ground floor with
a window with cornice on brackets, the entrance to No 198 in the angle within an open
porch with guilloche decoration in the frieze, 4 windows with cornices on brackets,
then the entrance to No 200 similarly in the angle and, finally, a later canted bay
window with slate roof. First floor with 6 windows with stucco lintels, one in each
bay except over the entrances. Left and right of this composition link walls and
the 2 storeyed coach houses, that to No 198 with a broken pediment, broad segmental
arch and small window above, that to No 200 altered.
