Of circa 1850 with top rebuilt circa 1936. Red brick with projecting pilaster
strips on blue brick plinth. Circa 8 ft high. Top with a frieze of brown
bricks-on-edge and moulded stone coping. Convex curve into the gateway with
stone plaques with the number in Roman numerals followed by concave curves
of circa 1936 with battered plinths of long bricks laid vertically. Gate
piers of elongated octagonal plan with their long sides ornamented with fielded
panels in moulded bricks and with the same plinth and coping as the walls.
