Circa 1830 a small early Calthorpe Estate villa. Two storeys 3 bays stucco
faced, originally symmetrical. Ground floor chanelled up to first floor
sill band. Gable end slate roof with overhanging eaves, flanking chimneys.
A circa 1900 2 storey rectangular bay window inserted to left hand. Three x
four pane central sash window, 4 x 4 pane to right in plain reveals. Ground
floor right hand window blind. Central doorcase of slender fluted Greek
Doric columns with deep entablature and blocking course. Door of 4 moulded
and fielded panels in panelled reveals, rectangular fanlight with geometric
glazing pattern. Small annexe with chanelling to left. Screen wall with
garage to right. Despite 1900 bay retains sufficient of its early original
features and forms part of an important early villa group.
