House, now hotel. Circa 1850 Roughcast over brick, steeply pitched slate roofs,
overhanging eaves, decorative bargeboards, tall octagonal chimney pots set on square
plinths centre of main range and gable end of cross wing.T-plan. North-east front: one
and a half storeys, 2:1 bays, all C19 2-light many paned C19 casements, gables with
decorative bargeboards to dormers left, window in gable end right, ground floor left
4-bay verandah, arches springing from wooden columns carrying slate roof, window left,
half glazed door right, inserted C20 French windows in gable end.
Right return fronting road: 2 bays, similar dormers with finials. C20 window south
west gable end, otherwise much as built.
