Formerly a chapel. Early C19. 2 storeys in pale brick with hipped Welsh slate
roof. Classical style. 2 full-height brick pilasters with stone caps and entablature.
3 windows in battered shouldered stone surrounds, single glazed light. Brick
band between storeys. 2 windows to ground floor. 2 foot scrapers flank battered
shouldered stone doorway with pediment on scroll consoles. Door of 8 fielded
Warehouse occupied by Haven Engineering, Nelthorpe Arms Public House, No 2
and Nos 4, 4A, 5 and 6 form a group with premises occupied by Northern
Upholstery Limited.
