Early C19. 2 storeys in brick with pantile roof and diagonal-set brick eaves
cornice. No 53 has 2 small modern casements above large late C19 shop front.
No 55 (now occupied by No 57) has 1 hung sash window with replaced glazing bars
to both storeys, flush wood case. Passage archway. Plain door, blocked rectangular fanlight, wood lintel.

Nos 47 to 59 (odd) form a group.
