Early C18 central block of 2 storeys, attic and basement, 5 windows, under
high pitched, hipped, tiled roof with 2 square dormers. Brick parapet over
wood, modillioned cornice. Right hand section is late C18, of 2 storeys
and 3 windows under hipped, tiled roof of somewhat lower pitch with eaves
cornice. Left wing, later in date, of one storey and 3 windows, has hipped,
tiled roof behind parapet over cornice band. Walls of dark red brick with
blue brick headers, and brighter red brick dressings. Stone plinth.
Windows are sashes with glazing bars (replaced on 1st floor) in plain
reveals under gauged, brick arches with curved, cut decoration, (except 1st
floor centre window, which has shouldered, moulded brick architrave). 3
stone steps to door of 4 fielded and 2 flat panels in panelled reveal with
dentilled cornice head and decorative fanlight. Prostyle Tuscan porch with
triglyph frieze, mutule cornice and open pediment broken back in centre.
