War memorial. 1902-1, by Charles Alderton, probably to designs of Sir
Edgar Wigram. Portland stone. Tall tapered cross set on octagonal ring
and then swept outwards in 4 arms to pyramidal caps and stepped cornice
set over inscription panels set on chamfered cross-plan plinth.
