C16 timber-framed cottage of 3 bays. Pebbledash and old red tile roof. T-plan. Two
storeys. Modern doors and windows. Exposed wall and ceiling timbers in ground and
first floors with some curved braces. Central diagonal brick chimney stack. Modern
extensions on north and south to make a continuous range of 3 cottages. Said to have
been altered by Eustace Frere, architect, about 1900.
